Freedom Climber is installed at Tennessee Tech Univ.

Suzann Hensley, the Assistant Director for Campus Recreation, was wanting to provide the students at Tennessee Tech an opportunity to add climbing to their fitness experience.  An unused wall just off the second floor walking track provided the perfect space.  After the install she commented :

"From the very beginning, you addressed my questions and concerns in a timely manner.......you brought to light issues that I had not even thought about.  Through your communication and guidance, we were able to make a 'not so perfect location' the 'perfect location' for our climber.  It looks as though it was made for that spot!!!!

I am really impressed with the apparent quality of this piece of equipment.  Easy maintenance and cleaning is definitely appreciated.  The students are intrigued at this point as many have never seen anything like this.  The ones that are into climbing are almost obsessed with it.  Even with the most experienced climbers, this is a challenge both in skill and endurance.  We may seriously be looking at a second Freedom Climber in the near future."

- Freedom Climber is installed in hypobaric chamber  (high altitude simulator)
in Downingtown, PA.

FAST Gym in Downingtown took their facility to the next level by installing a hypobaric chamber.  Walk into the enclosure and you have just arrived at 13,000 feet above sea level.   That is like going to Denver, then going that height again, then adding another half mile to that.  Athletes train in these environments to enhance their endurance.  The chamber could only house a few pieces of equipment and they chose the Freedom Climber because of the whole body workout it gives and because our footprint is so small.  Matt, their lead trainer, says it is by far the one piece of equipment that challenges him most in his own personal regiments.

The photo to the right shows the Freedom Climber installed just before the chamber was erected.  Photo above it shows the chamber

- Rutgers University adds a Freedom Climber to their climbing gym

Rutgers University in New Jersey is now providing the students and staff the ability to increase their climbing endurance by training on the Freedom Climber.  Climbing walls provide the opportunities to develop technique and climbing skill as climbers work their routes.  The Freedom Climber provides an environment where the climber can focus simply on climbing and endurance.   With no ceiling telling you that you have reach maximum height, the Freedom Climber allows the climber to climb continuously.  It is your body that says stop, not the ceiling.

- Freedom Climber installed in Fort Bragg as part of their
                     Soldier Performance Enhancement Program

At Fort Bragg we installed two Freedom Climbers, separated by two matching static panels.  The total length of the wall was 26 feet.  The Freedom Climber on the left had larger holds making for an easier climb, the one on the left had smaller holds, making for a more difficult climb.  Soldiers begin on the left, do so many revolutions, move across the static panels then on to the right Freedom Climber where they  finish up with more revolutions, then it is off to the next station in their curcuit training.
